The CSHRNet is building a national network to strengthen Canada’s leadership in space health and generate knowledge that benefits both space exploration and life on Earth.

Space health is a multidisciplinary field that encompasses Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math for the purpose of enabling physical, mental, and social well-being of humans to survive and thrive in outer space.

Our mission is to develop and support research and training initiatives in space health by fostering collaboration between researchers and providing trainees with opportunities to advance their careers in the field. To expand and strengthen the collaborative effort of representatives from academia, private industry and government agencies to work together to facilitate scientific discovery and knowledge translation for the benefit of all Canadians.

Our vision is to be a collaborative research network for the space health community in Canada, and to generate academic knowledge for the benefit of space exploration and for the health and well-being of all Canadians.
